2009 6th Annual Motorcycle Poker Run

| On Sunday, September 13, 2009, the DuPage County Police Association held it's 6th Annual Motorcycle Poker Run. The event began in the morning at Wildfire Harley-Davidson in Villa Park. Participants traveled an 89 mile route, with stops at a Hoosier Grove Park in Streamwood, Mott's Lounge in Burlington (complimentary biscuits, sausage & grave served), Alice's Place Ice Cream Stop in Elburn ($1.75 Root Beer floats), and Zylstra Harley-Davidson in St. Charles (10% accessory discount to ride participants). The ride ended at the Courtyard Banquets in Warrenville, where a great meal was put on by Chef John at the Courtyard, and everyone had a great time.
Approximately 191 riders on 155 bikes participated in the event. Many thanks go out to everyone who participated or helped make the Poker Run a success, including all our volunteers, vendors, and most of all everone who came out and participated in the ride.
