| DuPage County Assistant States Attorney Jeff Kendall gave informative presentation on Unlawful Use of Weapons statutes and police officer concealed/carry issues. |

| The new, updated DPA website is now online! Volunteer DPA website consultant Rick Jakubas of SLT Systems, Inc. gave an excellent and informative presentation on website operation and new features now available in the members information area. You will need your user name and password to access this area. Please contact the Dave Hoffman, Rich Spika, Frank Hoffman, or Mike Summerville to obtain this information. |

Eric Shipman gave information on the status of DPA Valor Award. A decision was made to consider giving a civilian award this year. Eric also gave the results of the officer election. Re-elected to office was President John Pickolcz, Vice President Dave Hoffman, Secretary Frank Hoffman, Treasurer Mike Summerville, Sergeant at Arms Rich Spika, and Director Wayne Loster. Welcome to new board members Al Pierce of Naperville PD and John Bright of Westmont PD, who will take office next month. |
